Narrative

Moke Munger (Josh Brolin) and Jade Munger (Peter Dinklage) are brothers and petty criminals. They follow their criminal mother, who abandoned them some twenty-five years ago. Jadie is caught breaking into the safe and imprisoned.

Moke escapes and tries to go straight

Jade gets out early because of corrupt officials who want him to crack the safe. This is mostly a quirky crime drama. It's trying really hard to be weird.

It's like a sub-par Coen Brothers movie

It has a lot of top notch actors. The movie lost me for a while with the monkey. I want to like the monkey, but it's too stupid to not be stupid enough.
